Alameda frente a la iglesia de San Francisco, al lado Norte se iniciaría así una larga tradición que se extiende hasta nuestros dias introduciendo el consumo de la gorda y la fricandela como especialidades. Con el paso del tiempo se trasladan a la zona de Av. Vicuña Mackenna con Diez de Julio en la decada de los 40 , agregando 3 salones de restaurant y una pergola sombreada de parras para las tardes de verano.
